The Acari property
The Acari Property covers a concession of 800 hectares. The company also holds an option on 4 other concessions that cover an additional 3,010 hectares. The Acari Property hosts several very important veins, of which « Principale », « Secondaria » and « Carnero » are at the moment the most important since they have a visible height, on the flank of the mountain, of 800 meters, a length of more than 2 km and are up to 3.0 meters thick.
History Acari is located 428 km south of Lima, the capital of Peru and is accessible via the Pan-American Highway that links Lima to Nazca and then via smaller roadways that leads to Acari.
The company owns 100% of the Acari property. The property not only hosts several rich gold-bearing veins but also an ore processing plant that has been operating since 1998 mainly by custom milling ore purchased from small gold miners.
At present, the Acari plant operates exclusively using purchased ore and does not process ore extracted from the Acari mine. Outlook Since 1998, the company has been producing gold at its Acari facility mainly through custom milling. During the last two years, the mill’s capacity was increased from 90 tons/day to 180 tons/day, which enabled Dynacor to report a net yearly profit in 2008 of 1.6 million dollars adding up to 0,05 cents per share.
